A large, solid object is being infiltrated by something small and vastly different. Does the infiltrator have the power to change the object? Will the object resist? Is this change for better or worse?

Behind the scenes.
The idea
Today, we have a series that we call “abstract.” But back in the day, this was our first photograph without flowers. After six months of hard work photographing flowers, we finally created an image featuring... some paper. :)
Making
Technically, this work is built on the simple idea of highlighting a white piece of paper against a black one. The interplay of materials and contrasts is what makes it intriguing.
Materials.
Paper.
For paper-based prints, we use our favorite paper from the most renowned German manufacturer: Hanemühe Photo Rag. This robust paper features a pronounced texture while still reproducing even the finest details.
Frame.
We use only high-quality, German-made frames in a neutral wooden tone.
Aluminium.
Aluminium is our preferred material for its high-quality reproduction, attractive aesthetics, and practicality. Best of all, no frame is needed—everything for mounting is included, resulting in an elegant, minimalist solution.
